You race downstairs and you're wearing your Mary Janes.
All is hectic as the mood music begins to play.
Frankie is up there, sweat coming off his brow...
He looks at you, with those bright blue eyes.
You stop in your tracks
And as he begins singing Love and Marriage, you feel like one...

The music is grand and everyone is having a ball...
But you begin to feel less important,

Everyone at the Sands listens to Frankie

When the concert is over, and it is time to say good-bye,
You don't feel the sadness you thought you would.
For you now know why you weren't born in the 50's...
